Long overdue update

I thought it was about time I posted an update on the progress of RiotFX, since I haven't posted for a long time!

A number of people have asked if I am planning to update RiotFX in the future; the answer is YES: I am pretty much re-developing RiotFX from the ground up with the following features:
  • An improved audio engine which will allow for even lower latency and higher quality effects on capable devices.
  • Improved effect architecture which will allow for the saving of patches and presets (as well as other features that I'd like to keep close to my chest for now).
  • Audio recording.
  • More effects including amplifier and cabinet simulation.
  • Massively improved graphical interface (I have to admit that the current GUI does not stand up to the polish of some of the competition and this must be addressed, although audio quality and usability always come first).
I am also working on a couple music apps unrelated to RiotFX that have been designed to take advantage of the improved Audio Engine which I am very excited about... more information on these apps as they come close to release.

So, as you can see I'm very busy, but I am focused on delivering a version of RiotFX that will make existing customers go 'Wow'. Unfortunately, rebuilding the app from the ground up requires a lot of time!
